The Rituxin is doing its job....
I had my quarterly visit with Dr. Leming yesterday and everything checked out well. The scans showed no signs of 'bad' activity and the Rituxin treatment went off without a hitch. Dr. Leming said, "The rituxin is doing its job!" He said I'll probably have 2 more Rituxin treatments and then we'll see how I do on my own. If all continues to go well the last treatment will be in December - I'll also have scans just before the last treatment. I've been feeling pretty well and didn't think there would be any problems but you never know until you hear it from the doctor.
Over the past couple months I've had a physical, colonoscopy and the recent scans and everything checked out normal. I think I've mentioned numerous times that my joints are frequently sore but I even seem to be getting some relief from that thanks to a product called Move Free. So I guess I have to fact the facts - all my other aches and pains are just a sign of the aging process. But considering how I felt 2 years ago at this time, I'm feeling like a million bucks these days.
